 Rules of Entry


We pride ourselves on The Wedding Business Awards being fair, unbiased and accessible to all wedding businesses. Here’s a rundown of the criteria you, or the business you want to nominate, needs to meet in order to be eligible.


  • Anyone who is a small business and supplies a wedding service can enter.
  • Businesses may enter more than one category.
  • A business can only enter one region. This is determined by where the business is located and not where they provide services.

  • Anyone can nominate a wedding business to enter. We will then contact that business to inform them that they have been nominated to enter our awards. A business does NOT have to be nominated to enter.

  • You then must create and complete an entry profile account, which is simple and only takes 5 minutes to complete. There is an administration £45 fee for each category that is entered. If you wish to enter more than one category, please create a separate account for each.

  • Once the entry process is closed, the regional finalists will be announced and the judging process will commence

  • ANYONE who is a small business, and suppliers a wedding service can enter The Wedding Business Awards.
  • On the entrant’s profile, they can request a maximum of 20 votes from their previous couples. These votes can also be used as part of the judging process.

  • The Wedding Business Awards judging panel & team can also mystery shop any entrant to see first-hand how they deal with the process from enquiry through to booking. All comments and remarks from this process will be used in the scoring. This can happen anytime during The Wedding Business Awards process.
